Real estate consultation — finding the right agent relationship

Why This Exists

The right agent isn't always the most popular one. It's the one whose communication style, pace, and approach actually fits how you think and make decisions.

Why This Matters

The right agent isn't the most popular one. It's the right fit for you.

Most people choose an agent based on referrals, production volume, or whoever answers first. Those aren't bad reasons — but they don't tell you whether the communication style, pace, and relationship approach will actually work for you.

This assessment helps you identify what kind of agent relationship fits you best — whether that's Erin or someone else entirely.

The right fit matters more than the biggest name.

Communication style, pace, and trust are what make a great agent relationship.

7.

How do you prepare buyers/sellers before the process starts?

Why ask: Reveals whether they front-load education or react as issues arise.

8.

How do you approach negotiations?

Why ask: Look for strategy and specifics — not just "I fight for my clients."

How to Interpret Your Scores

44–55Strong Fit

High alignment across most categories. Worth a second conversation.

28–43Potential Fit

Some strengths, some gaps. Consider which categories matter most to you.

Under 28Proceed With Caution

Significant gaps in areas that matter. Keep interviewing.

Important: No scorecard replaces your instinct. If something feels off, trust that feeling. The best agent relationship is one where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and informed — not just impressed.

A Note From Erin

“I naturally assume people are comfortable speaking up when something is unclear. If you are someone who prefers extra explanation, please tell me. Some clients want to understand every step of the process. Others want me to simply handle it. Both are completely okay. My goal is to adapt to how you learn and communicate best.”

I built this assessment because I kept noticing the same pattern. People would come to me after a difficult experience with another agent — not because that agent was bad at real estate, but because the relationship was not the right fit. The communication style was off. The pace was wrong. The level of explanation did not match what the client needed.

That is a fixable problem — but only if you know what to look for before you sign anything.

This page is not designed to convince you to work with me. It is designed to help you understand what kind of agent relationship will actually serve you — whether that is me or someone else entirely.
